Intake Procedure
Intake Procedure
Pup Squad’s areas of focus are mother dogs with nursing litters, orphaned puppies under 6 months of age, and pregnant dogs within the greater Houston area. We cannot accept dogs that do not fall into these parameters.
If you have found a dog that does fit our mission, you should submit the intake request form below. Please be aware that Pup Squad is an all-foster organization and we do not have a shelter location. All of our dogs are placed in homes until they are adopted and our intake is limited to the number of foster homes available.
If you would be willing to foster, or know someone who would, the chances that we will be able to help are greatly increased. However, fosters must be willing to commit to fostering until the dog(s) are adopted, which can take weeks or months depending on the dog. Please see the foster information page for more information. Pup Squad does pay for all routine medical needs and may be able to provide food, supplies, etc.
Pup Squad takes great care in making sure that each dog and pup we take in is healthy and ready for adoption.
We are an all-volunteer organization and typically have more requests than we can manage so please be patient when waiting for a response.
