Volunteers

We Love Our Volunteers

We are constantly looking for loving and caring individuals to become long-term volunteers with us. Our guidelines and requirements are outlined below. When you’re ready to get started just fill out the form and waiver  located at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Responsibilities

No one appreciates your commitment and care more than our dogs and puppies. The care you provide by volunteering at our adoption events helps ensure a safe and stress-free environment for our pups and gives them the best chance at finding their forever homes.

Adoption Event Volunteer Roles

Adoption Counselor

We like to have at least one person other than the lead that can help with adoptions. This role requires a bit more experience and pre-training. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an adoption counselor, please let the lead know.

Front Table Greeter

This role happens at our front table where we have information about Pup Squad available for anyone that walks in. You’ll welcome people to our adoption venue and let them know what we have going on and how it all works.

Dog Care Specialist

This is the main volunteer duty we have at our events. The dogs and puppies will be under your care while you are there with us and you’ll support potential adopters by answering questions about the pups.

Marketing / PR Opportunities

Are you interested in helping promote Pup Squad, its mission and its pups? Then we need your help. There are always opportunities to help tell Pup Squad’s stories. We’re always looking for writers, photographers, social media experts, designers, video creators… there’s always room to tell more stories.

Ready to Get Started?

Please fill out the volunteer waiver and application form below and email it to PupSquadVolunteers@gmail.com. At this time all volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
