Pup Squad's areas of focus are mother dogs with nursing litters, orphaned puppies under 6 months of age, and pregnant dogs. We cannot accept dogs that do not fall into these parameters.
If you have found a dog that does apply to our mission, please send an email to info@pupsquad.org. Please include: your name, phone number, the part of Houston where the dog is located, the estimated age, sex, weight, possible breed mix and the number of puppies. It also helps to include a photo.
All requests should be answered within 48 hours. If you have not received a response please feel free to contact us again. We are all volunteers and typically have more requests than we can manage.
Pup Squad is an all-foster organization and we do not have a shelter location. All of our dog are placed in individuals homes until they are adopted. Our intake is limited to the number of foster homes available.
If you would be willing to foster, or know someone who would, the chances that we will be able to help are greatly increased. However, fosters must be willing to commit to fostering until the dog(s) are adopted, which can take weeks or months depending on the dog. Pup Squad does pay for all medical needs and can provide food, supplies, etc.
For more details on fostering, please visit our foster requirements page.
